Anthropologie-Inspired Pin Dots
I’ve been wanting to try making polka-dotted denim ever since I saw a few pairs pop up at Anthro this past spring.
So how to turn regular old jeans into dotted ones? I remembered seeing people use bleach pens to make t-shirt designs on Pinterest. I debated making bleach dots versus using fabric paint dots.
In the end I went with bleach because I was curious to see how the bleach pen would work.
I used a Clorox bleach pen to make tiny dots on Target skinnies. I figured if things didn’t go well, it wouldn’t be a super expensive mistake, and I could always completely bleach the jeans completely white.
In any case, everything went well with the polka dotting process. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
Read on for a tutorial.
